1968 VW Double Cab Restoration Pages--Moving on!  

Dec 19-- and the first coat of primer is on.  Time to seal the seams.

Jan 5-- and the first coat of white is on.

Dec 22.   Paint at last!

Jan 6th.   Trim is re-mounted, and the gates are finished.

Jan 14.  The truck returns home at last!  (Still needs interior work, a rear-view mirror and rear bumper--lost during the restoration!)

Jan 24.   Most of the pieces in place, some work still to be done.    Still need interior work and a rear bumper.

July 25, 1999  The engine fell out.   Well, these things happen.    Fixing the window cranks costs a fortune, but putting the engine back in is easy.   Go figure!
